"10X10 started as 10 talented LGBT photographers who took a little time to shine a spotlight on some of the people who have made contributions to the arts over the years and captured the faces of rising new stars. It has grown into an an annual event with this years event being hosted at the Gladstone Hotel.

This year’s exhibition and book represent a celebration of some of the LGBT faces who have worked in the public eye and some who have worked behind the scenes to make our communities thrive. The book will be available of the portraits and proceeds help to fund the project. "

I've attended almost every year of 10x10 and to be asked to be a part of the 2019 exhibit was a true privilege.

I wanted to celebrate my queer subjects in a typical class photo style, but allow them to be memorialized as their true adult selves, full of confidence, performance, and maturity.

I worked as a school photographer for many years and I enjoy seeing confidence evoked from a young person, and as queer people that wasn't always an easy process growing up. 

I wanted this process to be a fun one and revel in these truly talented people, showing you their authentic selves, for your enjoyment.
